Teaching winter mountaineering

Image
Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent. Bit of a turbo thaw coming in tomorrow but a great start to winter. Fancy joining us for more of this? Check out Expeditionguide.com for our full winter programme.

Another corker of a Welsh winter day today - the North Ridge of Tryfan with Mark and Fabio. Ace 😀

Winter Mountaineering in Snowdonia

Image
A mega day with Mark and Fabio today. They had booked a scrambling course but the snow meant we could go winter mountaineering instead. We headed up the Gribin Ridge and down Seniors - the mountains of home at their very best.

Snow has arrived

You probably know it’s snowed 😀 I’ve been out with the ML Assessment team today trying to dodge it! We headed into the Northern Carneddau and it was beautiful. Afternoon blue skies, sunshine and snow capped peaks. Lovely.

Ropes, clouds, blue sky, sunshine, valley mist and the peace of autumn. Another lovely day in the mountains with the ML Trainees.
