Scrambling on the Misty Isle

 We’ve kicked off our second Skye Scrambling week today. Huw teamed up with Matt and Jordan, David was with Cath and Ronnie, Tarquin with David and I was with Fliss. It was a damp and cloudy day but light winds meant the weather didn’t stop play. Fliss and I climbed Sgurr a Mhadaidh, Sgurr a Ghreadaidh and Banachdich - an excellent first day out given damp rock.

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
