Keen to mark the longest day of the year, I head up Drum on the Northern Carneddau from home. This is a ride that I regularly do with Rum my border terrier and it's a great way for us both to stay fit for when the snow comes back in the winter!  Mike and I climbed Ordinary Route on the Idwal Slabs this morning. We then headed up Seniors Gully and the Cneifion Arête this afternoon, remarkably it stayed dry all day! A treat to have quiet mountains, summer sunshine and dry rock. Perfect! 

 Another cool day with Mike today. We avoided the wind by staying on the East Face of Tryfan. We climbed up Nor Nor Buttress Direct, down Nor Nor Groove, up Bastow Buttress and then down the North Ridge. We bumped into lots of lovely people too - mega 😀👍

 I’m out with Mike this week for some long scrambles and easy climbs. We kicked off with the Clogwyn y Person Arête which gave for a beautiful day once the cloud burnt off. Ace! 

 Kerry and I headed up Dolmen Ridge this morning on the second day of our advanced scrambling course. It was lovely to bump into Paul and team and to miss the rain showers that came through in our walk in. We descended Bristly Ridge to complete a fantastic couple of days. 😀👍

 I’m out with Zoe and Kerry these next two days for some advanced scrambling. It’s been wild in the mountains so we have stayed low in Cwm Idwal. We went up Idwal Buttress into Idwal Staircase and then down Seniors Gully before climbing the Direct Start to Seniors Ridge and then descending Idwal Staircase right hand 😀
