Lagangarbh Buttress

Image
A blast up Lagangarbh Buttress today with Emma. A route I hadn’t done before and a good option for a shorter day that still gives some good scrambling mileage. Nice one Emma 😀👍

Aonach Eagach

We had some beautiful light on the Aonach Eagach today and a brilliant way to end our scrambling week - the best ridge South of Skye? It has a bit of everything and keeps on giving. Thanks very much all for a great week in a beautiful part of the world.

Meall Cumhann

Rich and I headed up Meall Cumhann from Glen Nevis today. Steall Falls was a constant companion and looking great for all of the rain.

Curved Ridge

Image
A stunner of a day today. We climbed Curved Ridge and the top of Crowberry Tower in some lovely autumnal sunshine. The views were stunning and a reminder that when it’s good here, it really is good.

Climbing in Glen Nevis

Lots of smiles and giggles today despite some sub optimal weather. We went climbing in Glen Nevis and headed up Scimitar Ridge and then The Gutter, perfecting our levitation skills on damp rock!

Beinn a Chaorainn

Image
I’m up in Scotland this week for our Ben Nevis and Glencoe Scrambling week, joined by Richard & Tracey, Emma and Rich and John. It’s been a damp start but not super windy so we enjoyed the East Ridge of Beinn a Chaorainn which is always a cool mountaineering day 😀 Ace to be back in the Highlands!

Julian Alps, Slovenia

Image
I’ve enjoyed a lovely week in the Julian Alps of Slovenia this week with Rach, Claire, Fliss and Angus. We’ve had a mix of weather from hot summer sunshine to autumnal clouds and rain but have enjoyed some stunning walking and lots of giggles. Thanks very much for a brilliant week all.
