Scorchio on Tryfan

It’s been another scorcher today as Olivia, Alison, Will and I headed up the North Ridge of Tryfan in our navigation and scrambling week. Rum was with us too and was glad of a dip on the way down 😀

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent.
