Under the Eiger

We’ve had a beautiful day walking from Berghotel Faulhorn to Grindelwald today, under the shadow of the North Face of the Eiger. It’s been a stunning day with coffee stops, good paths, shady forest and snow capped peaks. The very epitome of Alpine trekking.

Teaching winter mountaineering

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent.
