Meall a' Bhùiridh

We’ve been up Meall a' Bhùiridh today for the second day of our winter skills weekend. After a few laps on the sledging slope we made our way up towards the summit with some lovely views across Rannoch Moor. We were able to do some ice axe arrest in all its various guises as well as identify wind slab and how it is formed. Ice axe and crampon skills were put into practice from yesterday and we also looked at winter navigation vs summer navigation before enjoying a windy lunch on the summit. Another great day and thanks to Emma, Mirriam, Hayden, Tom and Robert for joining us.
