WHR Day Four

 Walkers Haute Route | Day Four | This day is always a bit of a recovery day after the previous two big mountain outings. The route traditionally heads to the small village of La Sage but accommodation there is very limited so we often have to stay elsewhere and utilise the bus. On this trip that means two nights in Arolla which gave light packs today and a beautiful day walk to Lac Blue. We even had plenty of time to stop for coffee.

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
