Idwal Buttress

I’ve been out with Mark today, avoiding Storm Benjamin by staying low in Cwm Idwal. Mark and I have shared lots of adventures together and today’s brief was to get him leading on grade 2 ground on a route he could come back and do with a mate. He lead in great style despite the suboptimal conditions and we had a lovely day in the mountains. Thanks Mark 😀

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
