Scrambling in Cwm Idwal

 I’ve been out with Matt today for the first day of our advanced scrambling learn to lead course. It’s been pretty wet and windy so we’ve stayed low in Cwm Idwal and looked at how we use the rope for short pitching and a spot of abseiling too.

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent.
