Winter Skills Day Two

Another great day in the mountains with Evan, Simon, Peter and Mikey on day two of the Winter Skills Weekend. Having learned some movement skills yesterday we had more of a journey today taking in Buchaille Etive Beags Southern Munro of Stob Dubh.  Also covered during the day was a little more detail on understanding the avalanche hazard and how to best avoid it and even a little bit of bonus ice climbing.

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
