Ski Touring in Tromso

 Bryn and I have spent the last four days ski touring around Tromso. The first couple of days were pretty windy but we’ve been lucky to have great views the whole time and some nice spring snow which is unusual for the beginning of March. I’ve also decided that mixing paragliding and skiing just gives the worst of both worlds 😀. 

The best bit though has been the wildlife we’ve stumbled across, so far the list includes a Sea Eagle, a Sea Otter, a pod of Orca and of course reindeer - as well as getting some amazing views of the Northern Lights. This really is a beautiful part of the world. Our snowshoe summit week kicks off tomorrow - ace!

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
