Climbing and Scrambling

I’ve been climbing with Mark and Finlay today our five day learn to lead climbing course. It was a damp start to the week and we headed to Milestone Buttress, ticking  the classic rock multi pitch routes. We’ve also got Mark, Rob, Nigel and Thomas out scrambling. They’ve been up the Gribin and down Seniors Ridge with David.

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent. Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
