Tour of the Jungfrau- Day Four

We left Kleine Scheidegg in the cool of the morning with a beautiful walk down through forest and pastures, past ice blue rivers and with constant neck craning at the snow capped peaks above us. As we walked the Lauterbrunnen Valley opened out before us and a series of steep switchbacks lead us down into the heat. Our soundtrack was the rush and whoomph of base jumpers, mingled with the more traditional cow bells and glacial river. The final hour of the day saw a quick cable car hop and then a beautiful walk up to Murren - a car free village in a stunning cliff top location.
