Tour of the Jungfrau

This week I’ve been joined by Mirriam, Irene, Sean, Steve, Eddie, Bob, Rohit and my lad Finlay. We’re spending the week on the Tour of the Jungfrau and today saw us walk from Schynige Platte (after a lovely ride on the cog railway) to the Hotel Faulhorn at 2670m. We walked up through the clouds and now are sitting with teasing views of the Eiger and surrounding peaks.

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
