Climbing in the rain and eventually the sun

The second day of our climbing and scrambling week dawned wet and windy. After much studying of forecasts , careful weather analysis and pooling years of experience, Rusty, Mo and I all headed in separate directions and got wet in different places with our teams 😀 Thien and Mike slipped around the Moelwyns with Mo, Julia and Lucy got drenched in Cwm Idwal whilst Rachel, Claire and I got soaked on the North Wales coast - clipping bolts in the rain, walking the coastal path and eventually taking several photos in the only patch of blue sky that appeared at the very end of the day 😀

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
