Flying Buttress

We’ve been joined by Rachel, Clare, Thien, Mike, Julia and Lucy this week for our Long Scrambles and Easy Climbs week. I teamed up with Rachel and Clare whilst the others were looked after by Mo and Rusty. Poor old Clare skipped the first day with a migraine so Rachel chose our route - Flying Buttress in the Llanberis Pass. We enjoyed warm rock, sunshine and shelter from the wind as well as the fantastic climbing this Classic Rock tick provides. Great to be back climbing from home.

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
