East Ridge






 We are being spoilt for weather on this Scottish trip. Last weeks high pressure continues this week, giving light winds and that wonderful combination of light and cloud that is so special at this time of year. There’s even some snow in the forecast for tomorrow and it was good to have lower temperatures today. I’ve been out with Tom and Laura whilst Huw is with Nick and Jon. We all headed East and climbed the East Ridge of Beinn a Chaorainn which gives a great days mountaineering. The plan worked and we stayed dry. Ace!

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
