Scottish winter skills

I’ve been running our first Scottish Winter Skills Weekend of the season today. It was a stunning drive up yesterday and incredible to see snow from summit to valley floor for most of my drive.

The team and I headed up Buachaille Etive Beag today and made the most of the frozen streams to use crampons from car to car. It’s been perfect for teaching with light winds, variable snow conditions, water ice for crampon coaching and of course some lovely views. It’s great to be back in Scotland.
