Cairngorms

We have kicked off the last two weeks of our Scottish winter climbing and mountaineering courses this week. The Cairngorms are surprisingly white at present. Sophie and Huw headed over that way today climbing the Fiaciall Ridge and Coire an t-Sneachda’s Central Gully.

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent.
