Advanced scrambling

 It’s bloody ace to be back in the mountains of home. I love being in Scotland and Norway for winter but spring in North Wales is hard to beat! I’ve been out with Jonquil and Andy today on the first Advanced Scrambling course of the year. Warm rock, blue skies and sunshine were our companions as we headed up Idwal Buttress, Idwal Staircase and Cneifion Arete. Ace 😀😀

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
