Turning back…

 We headed up Pen Yr Ole Wen this morning on the second day of our Mountain Skills course but had to turn back. Poor old Steve pulled his calf so we all headed down and then the rest of us headed to the Crimpiau to continue our navigation skills. The best laid plans and all that. 😀

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
