Window Buttress

We sought out shade and a breeze today, choosing to go climbing on Window Buttress in Coire na Banachdich. This gives 4-5 pitches on lovely gabbro, beautiful views of the Outer Hebrides (that my picture totally fails to capture!) and of course the squeeze through the window 😀 It was also the first multi pitch route I ever lead! Ace!

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
