Cneifion Arête

Ray, Mark and I have rounded the week off with Idwal Buttress into Idwal Staircase and then onto the Cneifion Arête. Remarkably we had the whole place to ourselves as it turned into a very nice day. Big thanks to them both for a great week and thanks to Mo who took them sport climbing on the coast to escape yesterdays rain. Mega!

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.

Teaching winter mountaineering

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent.
