Grooved Arete

Grooved Arete is described as one of the best mountain routes of its grade in the UK. It’s 8-10 pitches long on the East Face of Tryfan and is a Classic Rock tick so it feels like you’re climbing a piece of history - especially as you make “the knights move” high on the route. It was Richard and Tracey’s choice for today - the first of a couple of days of private guiding - and an excellent choice it was too!

Cuillin Ridge Traverse

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.
