Climbing by the sea

 We’ve had a bit more of a chilled out day today at the seaside. We’ve climbed various routes at Porth-y-Garan and Porth Saint, followed by a paddle, tea and cake and a ride on a cannon 😀😀 Thanks very much to Rachel and Claire for another fantastic week. A big thanks to Olivia and Emma too, they’ve been out with John all week scrambling and to Louie who has been out the last two days with Huw. You’re all wonderful people 😀👍

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent.
