Idwal Buttress

 Rainbows and waterfalls today in Cwm Idwal. Claire and Kev did a great job of leading themselves up Idwal Buttress and into the climbers descent route - setting up their own abseil descent too in some fairly damp conditions! Thanks very much for a great 3 days both.

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent.
