Wrinkled Tower

 I’m out with Emma this week which is always a good giggle. We climbed Wrinkled Tower and Notch Arete on Tryfan and it was chilly in the Northerly breeze but we enjoyed the superbly grippy rock and barely saw a soul all day.

Congratulations to Tom and Laura who have rounded off a fine week on Skye with a two day traverse of the Cuillin Ridge with Huw. They did every summit and all of the climbs with a chilly bivvy on Thursday night - a fantastic achievement on the greatest mountaineering expedition in the UK.

Teaching winter mountaineering

Teaching winter mountaineering today with Fabio and Mark. It’s been a bit more blustery than of late so we stayed lower and got them on the sharp end in ascent and descent.
